She dies after a battle in primary school

A family in South Carolina tries to figure out how her fifth-grade daughter was killed in a battle at school.

Raniya Wright, 10, was transferred to the hospital after being found unconscious in the school’s infirmary following a battle between classmates.

The student succumbed to his injuries two days later. Police said no firearms were involved in the incident at Forest Hills Elementary School.

Raniya’s parents struggle to understand the death of their little girl, “their angel”.

The elementary school recalls a student “who liked to write, spend time with friends and play basketball”.

An autopsy to determine the causes of his death must be performed today.
